Deborah attributes most of her ability to events early on in her life mainly the illness and death of her 4 year old brother, Christopher, when she was only 3. Deborah believes that it was because she was so young and still so open that she knew very early on that her brother did not "die" as everyone else saw it. Somewhere in her little mind and heart she knew Christopher was always still around. It was this event that made her question reality, death, life, religion and physics from a very young age. At age 12, after reading an article about an unborn baby in Time magazine, information regarding life and the nature of time was suddenly revealed to her. She spoke of the past, present and future as being "One" - that essentially there was "no time", other than that created in our minds. We are much smaller and seemingly insignificant than we can ever know, yet so immense and powerful at the same time. This was the beginning of a new era for Deborah's thirst for knowledge and knowing.
Deborah is now a psychic medium who discovered her ability in August, 2001 when attending a funeral service for her sister's mother-in-law, Barbara. After a weekend of "coincidental knowledge" of the whereabouts of items in Barbara's home, and people in her life, Deborah received a message that said "I know about my face". This message related directly to Barbara's son, Richard, who kisses the picture of her face every night before going to bed. After this affirmation of her gift, Deborah practiced with people in the mall, people on the street, friends, family, acquaintances.
Deborah has provided readings for over 700 people all over the country. She prides herself on getting to know each person individually and encourages e-mail exchanges of any questions, validations, realizations, worries, excitements and milestones that her clients would like to share with her. Her personal e-mail touch is an asset in helping people feel comfortable with the process of learning how to connect with their loved ones on a daily basis. She encourages her clients to open or continue the dialogue of love with anyone you have lost in your life, as they are always around us, waiting for us to "talk" to them. Her motto to all her clients is that they "are a better medium to the people they have lost, then she will ever be." "Trust your signs, know that your deceased loved ones not only hear you, but also ANSWER you - ALL the time." Deborah finds the most rewarding part of her profession is to teach others to realize the conversations they have been having with the people they miss the most - have been REAL and are not a figment of their imagination.
Deborah made the final cut for a reality television program called "The Gift" in 2006 on the SciFi Channel. The show was about every day ordinary people who have a psychic gift of one kind or another. They would be trained by world renowned psychics and be challenged to various paranormal tests. The winner would receive a trip around the world to the worlds' most spiritual places. Unfortunately, shortly before the taping of the show, the network canceled the series. One year later, Deborah was considered for a spot on another show called "America's Psychic Challenge" on the Lifetime network.
Deborah has always been interested in religion, physics and the natural order of the Universe. She studied numerous World Religions throughout her life and had a 2nd minor in Religion in college. After studying so many facets of the same mystery = The Mystery of all Existence, Deborah came to the conclusion that she was right since the age of 12. All religions are trying to explain the same phenomena. They are all right. Religious differences are not about God, but about cultural divide. When you get down to the feelings and reverence for the sacred and unknown, all religions are the same. How we go about practicing our reverence for all things is different. But the feeling of AWE is the same. It is a deep desire for Deborah to unite humanity on this basic tenet of Oneness.
Albert Einstein has been a major role model for Deborah since she was a very young girl. His intelligence and ability to think outside the box to create a yet unknown world view astonished Deborah at a very early age. She has read almost every book about him that is available and continues to learn about her "hero" every day. Deborah explains that she feels a very strong connection to the soul of the century's most influential mind. While a seemingly strange role model for a psychic, Einstein talked about the "proof" part of the unknown. He wanted to Unite all aspects of the Universe into one simple explanation. His Theory of Relativity was but one small part of the greater picture. Deborah also wants the proof. She wants to elaborate on much of Einstein's thoughts… 'the rest are details…'
